Mr. Ashis Nain
Mr. Ashis Nain, 41 years, is the Chairman and Managing Director of Expressit Logistics Worldwide Ltd. He is the overall in-charge of the day-to-day activities of the company. A Graduate of Bombay University he has also obtained his diploma from International Air transport Association, Geneva. He has over 20 years of experience in the logistics, courier and aviation industries both in India and overseas. He has contributed significantly to the growth and the launch of new products and services in the Express industry in India. Mr. Nain's success, understanding and decades of experience in the industry have helped him establish excellent relationships & command respect from the decision makers in the industry. |

He has worked with Elbee Services Ltd., Bangalore as General Manager and Blue Dart Express, Mumbai as General Manager (Operations). He has also been a trainer and a guest faculty at prestigious organizations and institutes such as Bangalore Management Association, XLRI, NITIE on areas such as Strategic Planning / TQM / BPR / ISO 9000 at various symposia. He was also the facilitator of the Kaizen Study Circle, Bangalore Chapter. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Psychology from Bombay University. |

Before joining Expressit, he worked with M/s Numero Uno International Ltd. & With M/S Time Packaging Ltd – a group engaged in the business of manufacturing Plastic Barrels in collaboration with World leading German Company - Mauser, in senior positions.
While working for a Chartered Accountants firm, he dealt with a number of foreign & Indian Banks for Project finance & also for Audit & Inspection of branches of various Indian Banks. |
